Freshwater Beach Vintage Hoodie

Freshwater Beach Vintage Hoodie

Wear a piece of Freshwater history. This premium hoodie features an original early twentieth-century Freshwater Beach Estate brochure, preserving a fascinating snapshot of one of Sydney's most iconic beachside communities.

Long before the suburb became known as Harbord in 1923, the area was widely recognised as Freshwater Beach, named after the freshwater stream that flowed through the valley and onto the sand. This beautifully illustrated estate brochure captures that earlier era, proudly promoting Freshwater Beach Estate to prospective land buyers more than a century ago.

Today, it stands as a reminder of the area's rich history, from its Indigenous heritage and freshwater creek to the beach community that generations of locals have called home.

Whether you're a Freshwater local, a former resident, a Northern Beaches history enthusiast or simply someone who loves vintage Australian design, this hoodie lets you carry a piece of that story wherever you go.

Did You Know? This original estate brochure was printed before the suburb was renamed Harbord in 1923. While the suburb later returned to the name Freshwater in 2008, the beach itself continued to be known as Freshwater Beach throughout that period.
